Michael A. Kaup, CFP®
Founder, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®
Since 2001, I've been dedicated to helping people understand how the pieces of their unique financial puzzles fit together. My passion lies in coaching individuals and families to avoid financial missteps throughout life's journey. At one point, I considered a career change to high school teaching and coaching, but I was fortunate to discover financial planning, which offers the same rewards and fulfillment I was seeking.
I began my career with New England Financial in Boston, quickly qualifying for the company's distinguished Leaders Association in 2002. This success led me to relocate to San Diego, where I served as a managing associate with New England Financial of the Southwest. In 2008, I returned to my home state of New Jersey to join New England Financial of North Jersey.
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®. I hold a degree from Fordham University and furthered my education in business at the Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College. As a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, I've had the opportunity to speak at universities, businesses, and chambers of commerce, sharing insights on various financial planning topics.
Growing up in Bernardsville, N.J., and now residing in Morristown, N.J., I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My love for sports keeps me active, whether it's playing basketball, watching football, or working out. I'm also an avid reader of non-fiction and enjoy watching movies. I'm involved in community organizations like the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and Good Grief in Morristown, and I am a proud graduate of Fordham University in NYC.
